RIK ARGENT Profile from Excluss Productions

Rik Argent shot and edited his first music video at the age of thirteen. 

While at university studying Film and Media, Rik on a trusty Canon XM2 broadcast camera started filming live musical performances which lead him to direct, produce and edit his first commissioned music video, 'Bomb Song' by Captain Everything, and although he was still working towards his academic degree at the time, the video was accepted and broadcast by MTV Europe and Japan.

Since then Rik Argent has generated a vast portfolio of short documentaries, product promos, live event documentations  and music videos.

 Rik has directed, produced and edited for many signed and independent artists including Ned's Atomic Dustin, Gallows, My Passion, Ayo, Ezee, Andrew Singer  and three times "LA MUSIC AWARDS" winner Kris Searle.  Also, Rik has produced work for corporate giants such as ABN-AMRO, BMW (mini brand) and mobile phone heavy weights O2.

Having had the experience of working on Film, DV and now the transition to HD, Rik Argent is more than capable of adapting to the different work flows available.
